We have 35 years of experience offering family oriented karate and self-defense instruction in Vero Beach,
with six locations on the Treasure Coast.

On November 23, 2007 Mrs. Watkins tested for her fifth degree black belt. Family and close friends, students past and present, and many of VBKA's high ranking black belts shared in this event. So many of you who know and love her were not able to be present that night, so we have brought together various elements of her test and other elements of the night's festivities for your enjoyment.

Jason Wesley has been a member of the Vero Beach Karate Association since he was a young boy. He is an outstanding martial artist, an awesome performer, a dynamic instructor, and a terrific role model for other young people. Jason is a 2007 graduate of Vero Beach High School and a recipient of a $3000.00 scholarship from VBKA. Presently enrolled at the University of Florida, Jason plans to return to Vero Beach after graduation and become a full time member of the VBKA staff.

Birthday Parties

The Vero Beach Karate Association offers unique martial arts birthday parties. These parties feature a mini-class for the party guests and a chance for the birthday girl or boy to be the star of a karate demo perfomed with our Black Belts!

VBKA Birthday Parties are fun-filled events, with every child involved and engaged!

Parents provide the birthday cake and refreshments. VBKA provides the invitations, decorations, and the entertainment.

No limit on number of children attending the party
Parties usually last two hours
Six weeks notice required
Birthday party fee: $150.00
