Tai Chi for Health was designed by Dr. Paul Lam of Australia.  He has traveled the world to promote his program, training instructors to carry on his work.  Paulette Zeran (pictured to the right) has completed this training course and teaches a special short form designed especially for those who need a low impact, but effective, exercise program.

Tai Chi for Health is ideal for those who are not able to participate in heavy duty workouts.  Many people would like to exercise but find they can't because of threat of muscle strain, sore joints, medical problems, or physical weakness.

Tai Chi for Health is a program anyone can do.  This exercise form has been practiced for hundreds of years by all age groups, young and old alike.  It is a practical exercise program for many reasons, and it has many health benefits for anyone wishing to participate.

Each class starts with slow exercises to build muscle tone, work on flexibility, balance and deep breathing.

Students then work on the Tai Chi form.  The form is a series of movements with beautiful names and slow, soft motion.  Each student works slowly to achieve his or her own level of success.

Practice is an essential and important aspect of Tai Chi, and those who practice reap the greatest long term benefits of the exercise program.
